Today I take a leap of faith and started this blog to chronicle my musings, findings and obsessions on the things I love:
Make-up (I am a true #MakeupJunkie)
Fashion ( I LOVE the history of Fashion)
Handbags $$ (My poor husband hates this one!)
Shoes (The HIGHER the Heel the better)
Reality TV (Real Housewives Addict)
Yummy Cocktails (Champagne goes with anything)
Decadent Cupcakes (A girl has to eat sometime)
...oh and to chronicle my fierce resistance to the forces of middle age and to find some friends along the way to join my crusade against gravity and collagen loss!
I thought today would be a great day to start this blog as one of my favorite and timeless designers of all time, Oscar de la Renta took a leap of faith himself and appointed Peter Copping as Creative Director of the fashion house starting Nov 3rd.

I just LOVED the NYFW Spring/Summer 15 Collection. The floral and pastel look was so feminine and delicate! The whole collection has a beautiful flow to each shape and reminds me of being transported into a Monet painting.

I have a dress similar to the lace and cream one. I think adding a silver belt and statement earrings will be a great way to change it up!
The Makeup was also simple yet elegant. Oscar de la Renta partnered with Hourglass to create the delicate looks for the show this year.

Hourglass really has some wonderful make up!! I use their mineral veil primer and it is by far the BEST primer I have ever used....and I have a drawer full and a VIB Rouge card from Sephora to prove it!
This primer does not cause breakouts on my acne-prone skin and calms redness like nothing I have ever seen. LOVE IT!

I once read a quote that said, "No one can make a woman feel more beautiful than Oscar de la Renta" Clearly they understand femininity and the expression of delicate grace.
I love their Spring/Summer 2015 and can not wait to try a few new products from Hourglass to get their crisp clean runway look!
